FAQ

Location: The gym is located at 20 Avenue B in the former National Guard Armory.

Membership fees

Upon joining, your membership fee of $20 will be automatically deducted from your debit or credit card monthly.

*School Teachers, First Responders, Military & College Students pay a $15 monthly fee.

Community center Monthly membership includes:

1) Access to fitness/workout area.

2) Access to gymnasium. (basketball court and walking track)

3) $10.00 discount on any rental at the Community Center or Richwood Alumni Hall (Must be an active Community Center monthly member)

age limit

This gym is open to patrons ages 18 and older.

No children are permitted in the exercise gym and gymnasium even when accompanied by parent.

rules

This is a 24-hour gym and is run on an honor system. The facility is monitored by cameras. Your membership allows you access to the gymnasium, as well as the exercise gym.

No street shoes can be worn on the gymnasium floor.

Please read and agree to the rules below. Warning, if you break the rules, your membership will be immediately terminated.

To enter the facility, use the front door lockbox to access keys for both the front door and hallway gate (you will be given the code upon membership confirmation). Once you have unlocked the front door and gate, return keys to the outside lockbox. Do not keep them with you during your workout.
Lock front door from inside once you have returned keys to the lockbox.
Proceed to the gym and unlock Rooms 3 and 5 with the membership provided lock code.
Log in on the sign in sheet the time you enter the Exercise Gym (Leave comments to let us know if you found anything out of order in the exercise room or gymnasium).
Place your street shoes in the wooden shoe rack (Reminder: no street shoes allowed on gymnasium floor).
Always wipe down equipment before and after use with the provided disinfecting wipes.
If you use the restrooms, please leave them in clean condition. All facility cleaning supplies are in rooms 12 & 13.
Log in the time you leave the Exercise Gym and ensure door(s) are closed and locked.
Close and lock the gate.
Retrieve keys from the outdoor lockbox, lock the front door and replace the keys in the lockbox.
You must agree to monthly payment deduction for your membership.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with being a member of the Richwood Community Center Gym. On my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the Richwood Community Center Gym, The Cherry River Foundation, The City of Richwood, and its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the volunteers and representatives at the Center.
